Sure, it’s an inconvenience, it sucks and it’s a royal pain if it ever happens, but there’s no need to be living in constant fear of it given the realization that everything is replaceable and it rarely occurs. Also - I can guarantee you that nearly everything you have can be replaced (if you’re in a major city like Rome/Paris, most embassies can get you a new passport day of), credit cards can be frozen/cancelled, and worst case you’re out the cash you have in your wallet (which hopefully isn’t more than a couple hundred bucks anyways). Follow common sense and you’re generally fine. On a completely unrelated note - it always amazes me how much people overreact to the fears of pickpocketing. Something like a wallet with a locking/sealing feature and a built in tracker could be cool and has dual purpose. If you truly want to create something like this, I’d consider an accessory rather than clothes. I’d be much more likely to just buy a cheap $10 combination lock and put it on my backpack than buy clothes with anti-theft features. Also, most good pickpocketers can unzip jacket zippers without you ever even noticing. We gave it a five out of five in every single category, so these pants really could not. Follow common sense - hands in your pockets, don’t put anything in your back pockets, don’t leave your anything valuable in your backpack on your back to easily be un-zipped without a lock on it, etc. The Lululemon ABC Classic-fit Pant Warpstreme checks all the boxes for the optimal men’s travel pants. Personally - I never really understood why people buy specific outfits/bags to prevent pickpocketing.
